Changing USB Ports

  • When experiencing an unknown problem with a reader, try unplugging it and replugging it into a USB port on the opposite side of the computer (ie. if the reader is plugged into the front of the computer, unplug and replug it into the back of the computer).
  • If that doesn’t help, try it on both the front and backside USB ports of a different computer at an alternative work station.
