Scanning into a browser

If you scan a barcode and the data is exported into the browser, follow the below steps:

  • Unplug the reader from the USB port
  • Restart your computer
  • Once the computer restarts, make sure every application is closed except for DataTrak
  • Replug the reader back into the computer and wait for the driver to load with corresponding beeps
  • Ensure the cursor is flashing in the first field in DataTrak
  • Scan a barcode and ensure the data populates normally
